Mr. Bharath Samishetti serves as the Training and Placement Officer and Associate Professor of Management at Balaji Institute of Management Sciences (BIMS), Laknepally. With 18 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, student development, and industry engagement, he is dedicated to preparing students for successful professional careers by bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

As the Training and Placement Officer, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening industry–institute relationships and creating career opportunities for students through campus recruitment drives, internship programmes, industrial visits, corporate interactions, and strategic collaborations with leading organizations. He actively liaises with recruiters, industry professionals, and corporate partners to facilitate placements and enhance students' exposure to real-world business practices.

Committed to holistic student development, Mr. Bharath Samishetti designs and coordinates comprehensive employability enhancement programmes focusing on communication skills, aptitude and reasoning, soft skills, personality development, resume building, group discussions, interview techniques, leadership development, and workplace readiness.

Through continuous mentoring and career counselling, he guides students in identifying their career aspirations, improving their professional competencies, and confidently navigating recruitment processes.

Under his leadership, the Training and Placement Cell regularly organizes career guidance programmes, guest lectures by industry experts, entrepreneurship awareness initiatives, skill development workshops, certification programmes, mock interviews, assessment centres, and pre-placement training sessions. His student-centric approach ensures that graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude required to excel in today's dynamic and competitive corporate environment.

In addition to his placement responsibilities, Mr. Bharath Samishetti has made significant contributions to academics and research. He has published 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) indexed journals. He has also served as a reviewer for more than 40 national and international journals, contributing to the promotion of high-quality research and scholarly publications.

An accomplished academician and author, he has written two textbooks titled Business Economics and Industrial Relations. He has also edited 10 academic books covering Human Resource Management (HRM), Marketing Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Production and Operations Management (POM), and other core management disciplines, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and knowledge dissemination.

Believing in lifelong learning and professional excellence, he has successfully participated in 30 Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and 25 national and international workshops, seminars, and conferences, strengthening his expertise in contemporary management practices, employability enhancement, research methodologies, and higher education.
